Getting to the Villa is not hard, but the last 3 km is the most difficult.

Take Autobahn 6 towards the city of Gruenstadt. At the Gruenstadt turn off, take the Wine Strasse road towards Bad Durkheim. A little past Bad Durkheim, you will enter the village of Wachenheim. At the town's center, turn east towards the Rhine river and watch for signs leading to the villa. It is in the midst of the wine fields and near the new road ring taking traffic off the Wine Strasse and around the east edge of the village of Wachenheim.

The red line near Kaiserslautern is Autobahn 6. Follow it east from Kaiserslautern to Gruenstadt. You can also take the road (yellow line) from Kaiserslautern to Bad Durkheim. This road is slow but scenic.

At Gruenstadt take the Wine Strasse (green line) south to Bad Durkheim. Continue on this road to Wachenheim.

There is a tourism center at the Wachenheim city center where you can ask for help!

At the city's center turn eastward and there will be signs leading you to the villa. It is in the wine fields and some of the roads are paved and some are dirt roads. Many people walk and ride bikes here and you can ask them for directions.

If you feel lost, ask people in the town and on the way in the wine fields for help. They are very friendly and helpful, even if you do not speak German.
